We pick, pack and ship your direct-to-consumer orders the way you would in-house. Orders flow automatically from your store into our warehouse system, our team picks them, packs them to your spec, and dispatches them, usually same day.

EDI-compliant B2B orders

We handle B2B and wholesale fulfilment for brands selling into major Australian retailers and marketplaces, including David Jones, Myer and The Iconic. That means EDI-compliant order processing, retailer-specific labelling and packing requirements, ASN and packing lists, carton and pallet picking, and pallet shrink-wrapping, so your wholesale orders meet each retailer's compliance standards.

Custom packaging and branded unboxing

We turn your fulfilment into a branded unboxing experience. Tissue wrapping, branded boxes and satchels, custom card inserts, ribbon, stickers and promotional inserts are all part of how we pack.

Personalisation & engraving

Together with our engraving partners, we offer personalised engraving for jewellery and other personalised items as part of the pick and pack process. If your customers can add an engraving, a monogram or a personalised message at checkout, we engrave and finish the item before it ships, so personalisation never becomes a bottleneck or a reason to hold orders back. This is exactly the kind of high-touch, made-to-order work most large 3PLs can't or won't do.

Returns handling with QC

Every return is fully processed, not just received. Our returns process includes system logging, a quality check on each item, garment steaming where needed, and refolding so saleable stock goes straight back to pick-face looking new. Damaged or unsaleable items are quarantined separately and reported back to you, so your sellable inventory stays accurate.

We connect directly to Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento and Amazon, usually in minutes, and integration is free for supported direct connections. Once connected, orders, inventory levels and tracking numbers sync automatically in real time, so you always have live visibility of what's in stock, what's shipped, and where every parcel is. Accurate, real-time inventory is one of the main reasons brands move to us.

Beauty products are not treated the same way a t-shirt is treated in a warehouse. Glass bottles, pumps, batch numbers and expiry dates all need to be handled with a level of care that a general 3PL is rarely set up for.

Wholesale orders are held to a different standard than a DTC parcel. Major retailers require specific carton labelling, ASNs, routing guide compliance and, in many cases, EDI integration before an order is even accepted at their dock. Getting this wrong is costly, chargebacks are issued and relationships with retail buyers are put at risk.

Returns are one of the most operationally heavy parts of running a fashion or beauty ecommerce brand, and they are also one of the easiest parts to get wrong. A slow or careless returns process leads to lost resale value, unhappy customers and inventory records that no longer match reality.

An unboxing moment is often the only physical touchpoint a fashion or beauty brand has with a customer. A plain courier bag does little to build loyalty, while a thoughtfully packed order is what turns a first purchase into a repeat customer. Custom packaging is treated as a core part of the fulfilment process rather than a paid extra that slows dispatch down.

Storage is often the first problem a growing ecommerce brand runs into. A spare room or a small self-storage unit stops working once stock reaches a certain volume, and leasing a private warehouse brings a lease, staffing and equipment costs that most brands are not ready to carry. Ecommerce warehousing through a 3PL is built to sit between those two extremes.

Delivery speed is now treated as part of the product experience, not a separate logistics detail. A customer who sees a next-day or two-day delivery estimate at checkout is more likely to convert, and a brand that consistently dispatches late tends to see that reflected in reviews and repeat purchase rates.

3PL pricing is one of the most confusing parts of choosing a fulfilment partner. Quotes are often structured differently between providers, which makes a like-for-like comparison difficult, and hidden fees are sometimes only discovered once a contract has already been signed. Pricing is broken down here in plain terms, so it is easier to understand exactly what is being paid for.

A customer orders a necklace with a name engraved on the pendant. The engraving detail has to be pulled correctly from the order, matched to the right blank, checked before it is packed, and then protected well enough that it survives transit without a scratch.

A skincare brand is not just shipping a product, it is shipping a formulation with a shelf life, an active ingredient list, and often a subscription cycle that expects the same order to go out again in four or six weeks. None of that is specific to beauty products generally.

Australian ecommerce is one of the most commercially attractive markets for global brands, and for established Australian brands, international reach has never been more within grasp. What consistently separates brands that scale successfully from those that plateau is fulfilment infrastructure that holds up as order volume grows and market complexity increases.

The Australian ecommerce market has become one of the most commercially attractive international destinations for US brands. English-speaking, digitally active and familiar with US labels across fashion, beauty and lifestyle, Australian consumers are ready to buy. The barrier to entry is not demand. It is logistics.

International brands from the UK, Europe, Asia and beyond have identified Australia as a high-value market with manageable entry complexity. The consumer base is brand-literate, digitally active and growing. The challenge that most international brands encounter is not finding Australian customers.

For Australian ecommerce brands, international expansion is a meaningful growth step that requires more than a new Shopify market. Markets like the US, UK and Southeast Asia offer access to far larger customer bases, but reaching them successfully requires an operational foundation that most Australian brands are still building.

Fashion fulfilment is not a generic warehousing task. Garment care, presentation standards, size-run inventory management and returns handling in fashion require a 3PL that has built its operation around the specific demands of apparel. Freckl's fashion 3PL in Australia is purpose-built for this. For international fashion brands expanding into Australia.

The Australian beauty and skincare market is one of the strongest-performing consumer categories in the country. International beauty brands, from established European skincare labels to US cosmetics brands, have found genuine demand in Australia without the cultural or language friction that characterises entry into other international markets.

Cosmetics fulfilment operates within a tighter set of operational requirements than most ecommerce categories. Colour-coded SKU management, batch traceability for regulatory compliance, fragile and pressurised packaging formats, short shelf life management.

Beauty ecommerce brands scaling from $1M to $10M in annual revenue reach a point where the fulfilment operation they started with stops working for the business they are becoming. Order errors increase. Returns take too long to process. The unboxing experience that drove early reviews becomes inconsistent.

Subscription box fulfilment in beauty is operationally demanding in ways that standard DTC fulfilment is not. Every cycle requires every subscriber box to be assembled to specification, packed consistently and dispatched within a narrow window. A single missed cycle or a packing inconsistency at scale reaches every subscriber

Cosmetics warehousing is not a passive storage function. The physical handling of cosmetics inventory — how it is received, located, tracked, rotated and maintained — directly determines whether batch compliance requirements are met, whether shade variants are picked accurately, and whether stock arriving.

Beauty brands reaching the point of simultaneous DTC, retail and wholesale channel management face a fulfilment complexity that most entry-level 3PLs cannot support from a single inventory pool. Separate pick-and-pack standards by channel, retailer routing guide compliance for wholesale purchase orders.
